Sustainability
Outlined below are some of the environmental practices I use to minimise the impact of producting printed material on the environment:
For all print jobs done, paper manufacturers with environmentally accredited with FSC accreditation are used - which ensures paper makers identify that wood pulp comes from sustainable and well managed forests. FSC is a non-government organisation and is endorsed by WWF, Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and the Woodland Trust.
Wherever possible, stock with high recycled content is used, and/or containing pulp from alternative renewable sources.
Regular liaison with paper merchants is maintained to keep us in the loop with new developments in paper production - especially in regards to environmental sustainability.Contact is maintained with an extensive list of printers that conform to good environmental practices and have FSC accreditaion.
